matt: i did some laundry today, man. what is wrong with you?
karen: you did some laundry? i saw somebody bringing it to you.
matt: well, yes. she's wearing the same clothes! [sticks his tongue out at her]

matt: amy pond is... i dunno. i've sort of fallen in love with amy pond. she's sort of as bonkers as the doctor in many ways. she's a redhead, feisty, seductress ball of wit.





matt: god, i think karen brings so much of herself to the role as amy, all that mad, kooky energy she has in her life - [laughs] just karen-ness, karen madness - and that feisty, scottish inverness "don't mess with me," is all in there as well. we've become closer every day; i'm really fond of her, actually, i have to say.





matt: it's just, you know, we went through all of these milestones together - the first read through, we did that together, and then we did our first day on set, then we got our first block finished and we had all of these really huge things in life that we're sharing. [puts his hands together] it makes you quite close. uh... yeah, she's a funny soul.
